Yet is a good experience for me, what a world :P
And I will never agree that Pitfalls is a "solo" act tbh.

This album makes Pitfalls a masterpiece. What a piece of shit, not even 10 seconds of memorable music.

I was yearning for Out Of Here to explode into a heavier section when it got louder, but then it just ends after repeating the chorus a couple of times.
I would love some more climaxes without vocals, or atleast without a heavy focus on them. Or maybe I‘m just a bit tired of Einar‘s super theatrical voice being the main focus all the time.

Who would have imagined that the leprous problem was going to be Einard.
Coal>bilateral>TC=malina>TPS=pitfalls
@kalkwiese pitfalls is a 3, not more nor less.

Pika 1.5, brother gnoct 2.0, hmmm I guess this'll be a 4 then if my astral math calculations don't fail me.

2 tracks in, I'm really liking it, way better than the last one.

Is this like pitfalls or malina?

The answer is: yes.
More like Pitfalls with a little more rock, I guess. Some Malina flavor here and there.

This album is so rhythmically interesting, and the vocals are in the sweet spot. Not digging the sound completely but I was surprised how much I enjoyed this when compared to earlier stuff

I don't know man I don't have a problem with the band going for the heavy weight on Einar but I can understand that metal/prog fans can get frustrated while listening to this.
It has some interesting tunes and melodies, I also like the song that Simen wrote without bass but with that kb on it, "Have You Ever?".
Im enjoying it alot so far.

Not sure why everyone is talking about it being a "solo" act so much on this thread. The band plays extremely well in all their polyrhythmic grooves throughout this whole thing. If anything the band is "too" present sometimes

Yea, it was good on the first listen. This time they went for a more visceral approach to not overthink things. I think it shows. The music doesn't feel calculated, like on The Congregation
