lmao who wrote this bet it's someone who refuses to acknowledge just about anything ohhh there it is
in fairness this take does have elements of truth for the tiny slither of artists with such huge and entrenched fanbases that they could basically control the market and live big without making any effort to rope anyone else in, and eilish is one of those for cert. plus she's edg/y enough that what would appear risky for most successful pop stars is prepackaged into her brand
