This barely chugs. That's part of why it's so good compared to Meta or Geometria. Riffs are way more interesting.
And the second half is light on the metal.

Part of what I respected a lot on Naiv was that the metal tracks were so streamlined that that sound felt like just another part of the toolkit; this v much feels like TC is back to making riffmusic that does Other Stuff for kicks hmm

Never listened to these guys before but gave it a go last night. I really like the synths throughout and its got some really great dynamics that keep it fresh and excited. Almost ready to slap a rating on it, just needs a couple more spins.
