"how does one mix an album worse than the original? like how is this possible?"



It's funny because almost every remix I can think of in my disco I actually prefer less than the original. The only exception that comes to mind is Acceptance Speech 2.0 and I forget if that's remixed or re-recorded (remakes/re-records are usually inferior as well though)
