it's a pretty clean fusion of that denver gothic americana scene to metal, maybe if you had a different idea of "western"

if you're fixin for more cowboy metal, the main guy behind The Lion's Daughter has a new project called Blood Mother that he describes as "the post black metal horrors of TLD with haunting, atmospheric soundscapes and Western Americana attitude." one song out so far but it seems promising
