Fuck, I saw a review and 17 ratings so assumed they streamed it early or something. The wait is killingggg meeee. Based off the singles, I bet this ones holds a 3.9-4.0 avg

Yeah the album art is overly gratuitous. Not a fan of shock value body horror. That said, something about the fact that she ripped a baby in half and looks pissed out of her mind comes off as a bit comical to me lol

i mean they're all pretty comical, their magnum opus from the 90s is a zombie dude eating out a zombie chick

Their debut is a zombie eating himself back to life, which looks hilariously dumb

Only CC album cover that really gets me is Butchered at Birth. Wretched Spawn is pretty fucked too.

Never got the appeal of this band. They're as white bread as a death metal band gets.

but album art is trash agreed, though i thought it was common knowledge already that 98% of all metal albums (especially in DM [and especially CC like cmon lmao]) would be better if they just got rid of their grainy unoriginal/boring album art in the first place. like listening to CC without album covers makes that experience 500% less corny

i think you meant the cheapest of meat and potatoes, rather than an odd bread comparison, but still. even if CC is, they're damn good at being consistently solid

Lol I love that in 2021 people are still talking about their album art and that music video being messed up like they haven’t been doing the same thing for 30 years!

It’s funny with their discography that KILL stands out compared to the others.

Looking forward to hearing this, avoided all the singles so will be fresh when it drops

Lol that album cover is so cool compared to their others too. I might check that one out first, since this isn't out for another 2 days

Skeletal is a great starting point for their more modern material.

KILL and Torture are other good options.
