I’ve been going through their discog chronologically, started at Attic and am currently absorbing Undersea so Familiars is next up. I could skip it and go right to this but I think I’ll wait. I’ll prob skip his solo album then go back to that after this.

(One post from 20k, guess I need to go pull a list together now...)

Don't know where I'll rate this. I'm not quite in the right mindset to play this right now, but maybe further into the spring I'll fully appreciate it, if that makes any sense. Will probably buy it to support the band.

This definitely feels like a spring/summer album to me. I think it's just because of how lush and inviting everything sounds. I like it a lot right now but I think it will definitely only get better with time.

Strawflower - 3.5/5

Wheels Roll Home - 4.5/5

Solstice - 4.5/5

Stubborn Man - 3.5/5

Just One Sec - 4.5/5

It Is What It Is - 4/5

Volunteer - 3.5/5

Green to Gold - 4.5/5

Porchlight - 4/5

Equinox- 3.5/5

A very steadily beautiful album with no "wow" 5/5 moments but also no filler or average tracks. Plenty of brief ascents into gorgeous, atmospheric 4.5-worthy moments though!

Nice Sowing! I think Wheels Roll Home, Solstice, and Green To Gold would be my top three, followed by It Is What It Is and Porchlight as some other personal highlights, but really like all of it

You're right, It Is What It Is should be a 4 bumping now

But yeah I think we're basically on the exact same page

I think the instrumentals work nicely as an opener and closer, but those along with Stubborn Man, which hasn't quite clicked yet, would probably be my least favorites at this point

@Colton, bringing me down! I get it though, this album has a sound going on which either works for you or it doesn't
