I don't even think you can call it metalcore anymore. It's just straight up buttrock with the occasional scream. I said it in one of the threads for the singles but it straight up sounds like Architects covering Three Days Grace at times lol.

I don't really have an issue with how Sam sounds actually. It's just the songwriting that's painfully boring for me. It's all so fucking predictable lol. I think if the songs were actually thought out and written well he could belt out some catchy hooks and choruses.
