Libertine isn't bad either

I don't mind Black Lungs, Giving Blood, An Ordinary Extinction, Animals, Libertine, and Goliath. But the kicker for me is any of those would be bottom tier on any of the past three releases. I feel like "Octane RAWK" was the worst path the band could've taken. I'd even be cool with a moodier, more dynamic approach, but the heavy isn't heavy enough so it sounds all watered down.

Libertine immediately died for me when the "woooahoOOOoah" vocals came in

It's a big overproduced and uninspired pile of shit, as expected from the first single. I swear I even hear autotune here and here.

Way to carry on Tom's legacy folks.

Completely disagree that everything since Hollow Crown is bland, what a laughable opinion lol. AAG and HH are stellar, however...this blows. Had the feeling I’d be disappointed from the singles, I was right. As others have said, Discourse Is Dead & Impermanence are pretty solid, but definitely “pretty good not great” for Architects songs. Man, bummed

Man this sucks. Did not like Holy Hell but this is next-level bad.

Also how bored must the drummer be on here

I remember not hating three tracks and maybe half liking meteor when i listened to the record. The meteor thing may have been from sheer exhaustion from sitting through this overlong snoozefest and it was at least interesting after one of the god awful features. Winston was suprisingly solid

Imagine having a Sylosis guitarist and not using him.
