'i probably won't listen to this more than like twice but y'all need to chill, this is fine. there's other shitty music out there that's more worth getting mad about'

nobody in the thread is mad tho theyre just expressing their distaste? what on earth are you people on about

"did anyone really expect them to drop a 12 track gazetonescore album a year after their debut?"

I expected it to be an ambient soundscape cus I knew it was fishy that this had no singles and barely any real promotion. Honestly tho maybe 3 track ep with like 2 shoegazey tracks and a heavy song would've been much better received.

could be better if these tiny tracks were more fleshed out. wonder how the whole band signed off on releasing this as Loathe...

Not sure why this band gets so much hate. Sure.. they emulate Deftones pretty hard but why not? I love Deftones so it's a welcome sound for me. This album makes no sense though. Should have just been a side project with a different name.

hahah thanks jay, had a lot of fun writing this one

yeah i mean power to them for releasing this as a new loathe full length, but they shouldn't be surprised by the negative response it's receiving. tbh i think we'll be getting a new postgazedefcore record from them in the coming two years

it's funny to see people expecting boring wobble-core being confused by ambient music.

it's not bad. not breaking new grounds either tho. like it better than their previous album.

Agreed Jeet, you called it before it was even confirmed to be an ambient album haha. I didn't want to believe you but... You were right.

Better than that abysmal Poppy project she put out at the tail end of last year

Wish it wasn’t under the label as a full length cause honestly it’s just there, I could do with or without it but it’s not really significant enough for me in any way to rate it

I mean it’s fine for what it is but what it is kinda seems like it’s meant to go in one ear and out the other
