honestly not sure why I always slept on EARL, I was one of those annoying OFWGKTA kids in high school so I have no excuse. I remember thinking BASTARD was overrated so kinda assumed EARL would be similar (I know, definitely a false equivalency, but I was young)

Earl was definitely the best rapper of them all, even in like 2010.

yeah not even close really in fact I find them pretty unlistenable besides Vince (if he even counts). Even Tyler is a pretty tough listen pre-Flower Boy.

@Alex: I mean I was into it them all, growing up. Earl was just the most gifted. Check out "Yu" by MellowHigh. Awesome OF song with none of the bigger names.

This is the shittiest review I’ve ever seen. First of all, why would you wait over two years to review this album when it’s not even relevant anymore. Second of all, this album is literally known as one of the best abstract and lyrical albums of all time. There has almost been nothing done like this before and it is so obvious that so much hard work and dedication has been put into this album. It’s disappointing that there are people on this platform that just don’t understand all type of music.

This is the album that I GUARANTEE you, we will be having all sorts of people on this site and elsewhere pretending in 5-10 years that they were huge fans of immediately, that they 'got it' despite rating it a 1 on here and calling it 'utter s***', etc. I've liked AM for a long time but this is something else, entirely. Hard to even compare it to their earlier work as it feels almost like a different band at times.

I'm not a rap guy at all, but this absolutely slaps. It feels like a great mix of modern rap and old school NWA style stuff.
