Mess of an album.

Pushing Daisy's might be the best track here? Nothing else stood out much to me.

'Are they going for TikTok fame now?'

i genuinely believe we'll be seeing a whole lot of this the coming time, artists trying to craft choruses/songs that are tailor made for tiktok.. hooray

Pretty much. I respect that they are trying something with this poppier direction, but it's still just not good. Maybe on a similiar level as peace and the panic.

I've listened to it a few times and really don't remember a single song, I seem to prefer SICK JOKE, but it's a very un-special track. But they tried quite a bit, too many pop punk bands didn't try and then they disappeared. I used to not really like Neck Deep, but now I think it's a healthy band.

The review is pretty good, especially the recommendations section!

i think the main issue is that this is the exact thing almost every pop punk band is trying to do, neck deep are just a fair bit worse at it (i have a feeling the new knuckle puck won't be much better tho, ugh :[ )

thanks notagenius! i cannot recommend oso oso's basking in the glow enough, such a delightful record

The vocals on this album are so nasally annoying and overprocessed and tuned, over poor songwriting... It's not good...

Expected better from these guys.

To go from Life's Not Out To Get You to this shit?

So dissapointing, only thing I like here is Lowlife.

early neck deep EPs are very good memories. I don't know about you guys, I think current pop punk is all extremely boring right now. I'm waiting for people to get tired of colorful music videos.

Peace and Panic has good song that tries to part ways with the pop-punk formula: In Bloom obviously, 1970 sumthin', even Heavy Lies (one of my favorites).

But here ? They're shit man, Ben’s dad owns a record label.
