Only 2 songs in right now, but this has some really interesting stuff going on, dig it a lot so far.

I think the ambience, some guitar riffs and the vocals (in places) are very similar. There's some parts here that sound like they are straight out of One

Big vibes from Michael Lessard on first few songs. I think this can be something. Still figuring. Really weird mix of indie rock and metal...in a good way. Definitely biiig vibes from Yorke and Buckley fs! Into the Sun is really good.

such a pretty one
production isn't the best for a metal output imo, but the indie creativity here rides above that.

This is pretty cool, sounds like a more avant-garde version of Tesseract's One to me. Gonna check out his discography for sure
Edit: not possible, this is his only record on Spotify. Sad"
Just torrent his stuff or buy it.

This completely slipped by unnoticed for me. I'm just discovering this exists now. Been looping and I think this might be a masterpiece and my AOTY? I've never heard anything like this, and that's fucking nice in a year like 2020 where frankly most of my favorite prog metal acts have gotten stale and comfortable.

Looped this for a few days. Stunning.
I'm not huge into Psychobabble, Nymphs, or Sadness[...], but only because they're 8/10s in an album of 10/10s.
Really sad to see that because he suddenly released it due to COVID and not wanting to keep label hunting during this time, and so there's next to no reviews of it or online presence.
Auras Awol, Hush Mortal Core, Mothflower, Enigmas, Into The Sun, and Ecstasy Astral Melancholia are 10s for me. I almost need to take a break and not loop them until I ruin them for myself.

Glad you liked it Nomos; maybe split the loop with his earlier albums?! :D
Yes, he remains pretty unknown - help spread the word ;)

Finally got around to checking this out. I've only spun it once but so far it seems like a really strong listen. The heavier tracks stand out to me in particular but I think that's just because they are cushioned on either side by more ethereal moments. It's too close to tell, but this might end up making my end of the year list.

Anyone else notice how "Sadness is a Story of Beauty Only a Dancer Can Tell" has elements of Sting in the vocals? Just me?

It's true. This album continues to surprise me with how good it is. Any the only bad thing about it is there are no physical formats available.

"yeah this is like Coldplay meeting The Contortionist meeting Tom Yorke and Jeff Buckley lol. Weird but cool."
What era Contortionist we talking? Coldplay meeting Exoplanet-era Contortionist is something I'd have to hear out of sheer curiosity
