Yeah the vocal trade-off is one of the best parts of pop punk. I always loved when Blink-182 did it. I think Brand New did it on a few songs. The Menzingers did at one point and I really wish they did it instead of handing 80% of the vocals to Greg and keeping Tom's songs separate.

i still come back to this at least once or twice a month. it's so easy to listen to in one sitting and still has the same emotional weight as the first time i heard it. probably my AOTY at this point, and i really didn't care much for their previous record.

Feel like with emo/pop punk in general, an album/artist hits you or it doesn't, and that largely falls on the frontman/woman. I find if I'm even a little cynical about an emo band I can't stand them; but if I throw myself into their music, I can buy into even their most affected moments.
