I guess I get the hate on Synergy, as a huge fan of Burial the chip tuned vox felt really ear-worm and get the song so stuck in my head. So I listened to it quite a few times, and the amount of layering in the crescendos is absolutely phenomenal. Just being able to mix it while retaining each element is a testament to his skill.

I'm a huge Violet Cold fanboy (Sommermorgen Trilogy was my AOTY 2018) but this doesn't really work for me. He basically reverted all the way back to Desperate Dreams but it's not nearly as exciting.

Out of all the bands pursuing this sound recently, this project is certainly the best. I may be mistaken, but i believe there may be a big gap between his last new release and his next one due to the conflict going on Azerbaijan and Armenia.
