After and Arktis are incredible, the others are great as well. He's got an impressive discog so far.

Wrathchild cover sounds badass and that saxophone implementation. Also very much enjoyed title track. Good stuff from the norwegian.

EP is overall decent. But I really wish he did one more Symphonic Black Metal Emperor style album. But I guess he's moved on from that sound. That being said, I still dig a lot of his solo stuff.

I'd rather he didn't. His solo stuff is better than Emperor ;)

hard disagree bro ;)

He's never gonna beat In The Nightside and Anthems (and even Prometheus)

But yeah, a lot of his solo stuff is great

Finally got around to checking this one and enjoyed it a lot. Need to jam Amr as well.

Amr was nice, but the production hampered it a little for me. Could have been better with less blown up drums/bass, some more room to breathe.

Gotcha. Is the songwriting similar to this one though?

I'm glad you liked it manosg. Yes, there are obvious similarities. For example, the opener reminds me of 'Lend Me the Eyes of the Millenia' from the previous album. Yet this EP has a less polished production.

Yeah exactly, this sometimes seems similar, but is a little rougher overall.

Nice. I love the songs on here and especially the non-black metal parts, he seems to be able to blend different stuff so seamlessly.

Yeah he's quite eclectic. His debut has a King Diamond vibe which I think you'll also enjoy.
