Impressive how he manages to make music that should just be fucking annoying e.g Ballroom sound hypnotic and quite engaging but having said that I’ll probably never listen to that track again
Ghost sorry I get lost on that sort of high level mathematics

the thing is I do dig this a lot but if I gave it 4 I’d have to give FiS 6

Versi and the title track are really some of his best songs yet. Whole thing rips tho. I love how this feels like a continuation of the 2011 eps but also incorporates a clear cut house swing that sets this apart from those (and the rest of his work). dancing for days. Can't wait for the new LP, whenever that comes

He has tracks like these on some of his other albums, How It Was for instance

true true, there are some scattered about his discography for sure. I guess this just feels the most explicitly danceable to me and I really like that -- stuff like OL9, It Should be Us and Take have a real groove, and not in that dubby, slowed down way that a lot of his other stuff has

this was a consistently solid listen but none of the songs went as hard or were as unique/interesting as the highlights on luxury problems. maybe it will grow on me...

Yeah only one or two from this have made it into my daddy stott playlist

You guys realize this isnt an LP proper right? His actual next LP next year will be more comparable to his others. This is a continuation of his last few EPs. And its better than those.

I just assumed than an album sized release after 3 years was basically him just offering his most best/most creative work but good to hear he has an album coming next year
|
| |
And its better than those.
Nah ;)
|
| |
I prefer this no question. I've spent a lot less time with those 2 eps than his lps and this tho
