Doing a quick run through of this and it’s pretty fucking yawn so far. What the hell happened to these guys?! I used to really really like them. A Rush if Blood, X&Y and Viva La Vida are really fucking good. I miss those guys. Those guys toured their asses off! Not sure who these pussies are.

Yeah I see where Doof comes from - like I said before, my love for their early stuff was very much a “right time and place” sort of deal, if I’d been in my twenties when they were coming up in the noughts I would have probably hated them too. But again, when I was 11-12 and an orchestra kid, hearing “Viva La Vida” on the radio was again nothing short of revelatory, I do not exaggerate when I say that song alone got me into music and so while the critical part of my mind can now see how cheesy it is even still I’ll never not love it for how nostalgic it is for me.
