This was going to happen one day when you found out about this. It just had to with the Amon Tobin avi and all. It was nice when it lasted!



No but in all seriousness, I do really prefer my electronic music to be more empty, spacious, cold, deep, minimalistic, did I say empty?, and generally with less clutter. I find most IDM artists go for a fuller sound, with more stuff going on all the time and with lighter sounds. I live for that deep and monotonous techno beat.

Oh I like him the most out of Autechre, BoC, etc. He's cool. But still if I had to choose between him and Monolake, Pole, GAS, The Field, Efdemin, Plastikman, Stephan Bodzin, or my other techno bros I'd pick them.

I'm really surprised you don't like BoC tbh. I get the Autechre thing (they're a little 'patchy' for me too, although I could see you enjoying the earlier stuff like Amber, or perhaps Tri Repatae).

I liked Geogaddi but not so much the rest. It's been a while since I heard them so perhaps I should give them another go.
