Boy I can think of so many better stretches of 3 albums in a row from modern BM bands. DWEF and Enthroning Silence come to mind, the latter of which is heavily inspired by Darkthrone anyways.
But yeah the first few Goatmoon's rip hard as fuck.

I havent checked out Aorlhac, but Suhnopfer is pretty great. I wouldn't say his albums are better than Goatmoon though

Different strokes, I'm a bigger fan of melodic black metal than any of the other styles. Aorlhac are from the same scene as Suhnopfer and he's their drummer now iirc, similar styles but I think they play it a bit better than his solo project.
