I know each copy comes with a digital download, but I got it on steam so there might not be a key. I can give you mine when I get home if I have it.

Going home for a few days tomorrow and if this hasn't arrived I don't think I'll ever be so disappointed to boot up Bloodborne

Heard there aren't too many bosses in this game in comparison to the souls games, is it true?

No. Well, partly. There are a lot of mini-bosses which are even harder than the bosses themselves.

Bosses aren't as frequent so far for me but they are all designed very differently which makes each one a unique experience, as opposed to the samey-ness of the design in many of the other games.

"This game is blowing my fucking mind."

Yeah man, same here. I'm at Fountainhead Palace right now... if you haven't gotten there yet, just wait until you see it. I think this might be my favourite Fromsoft level ever. Just when I thought the level design couldn't possibly get better.

Good to hear that about the mini-bosses, fromsoftware never disappoints when it comes to giving the player a challenge

Right now I only think this game is challenging in the sense that it's new. Like, when I first played Dark Souls it took me - i kid you not - 6 hours to finall get through Undead Burg (many play sessions of course, once a day for a week I'd go bang my head against Dark Souls for an hour). But now, obviously, I can fucking fly through Dark Souls in its entirey in that time (even less) with next to no trouble.

Sekiro is the first time since Demon's and Dark Souls that there's actually something new to learn, and I'm loving it. The world is beatiful and frightening and alien. I love the dread and tension I feel exploring every new area, I love the gorgeous design and unique gameplay elements. I love it.

My only BIG issue with the game right now is the Dragonrot and Resurrection systems: Dragonrot has little to no consequences, and only spreads after a true death. Because you'll be dying a lot, you spread a lot of Dragonrot. Because you spread a lot of Dragonrot, the cure is fucking everywhere. Every vendor sells infinite cures. It is the absolute definition of a meaningless mechanic. I would have LOVED if Dragonrot was exclusive to Resurrecting. If it were, it would make Resurrection a choice, a strategy where you need to weigh up the decision against choosing death or choosing a second chance at the cost of spreading disease. With this system though, the disease would need to be a bigger threat, i.e. Kill the NPCs. Make me fucking fear for my favourite vendor's life. Make me fear this side quest being unfinishable because I caused the character's death prematurely. Make the cure hard to come by, make it a real fucking CHOICE. Because right now there is literally no reason not to resurrect. The game may as well resurrect for you, the choice between death and resurrection is so meaningless is boggles my mind. I mean the game fucking gives you SUICIDE PILLS, and if the mechanic worked as I wanted it to, that would be fucking huge, that would be a level of choice and consequence that is unprecedented in these games. Give me that choice, Fromsoft! Give me the power to help or doom everybody with my own gameplay inputs, my own selfishness or self-restricted difficulty.

Sorry for the rant, I feel very strongly about this.

I also had an overwhelming stream of shower thoughts regarding that mechanic man, you're not alone. I also wish Resurrection would be more consequential and meaningful. Huge missed chance.

Thank god you agree because I've discussed with with some people on Twitter and they simply just do not understand where I'm coming from and I thought I was going a little insane
