This is pretty much on par with ADToE for me, which is pretty good despite some flaws. At times it reminds me a bit of some of their older work mixed with some ToT, but with the shorter songs it's a more than welcome change. I'm only a couple listens in but so far I'm liking a lot better than I thought I would, considering their last couple of fails.

I'm gladly surprised, it doesn't reinvent the wheel but it definitely looks like they learned from their mistakes.

King Viper or whatever is a kinda corny song but I can still tolerate it

Find Me (really awesome AOR stuff. I only dug a few songs from the first couple albums, but this one is great all the way through)

Continuum (Pretty insane tech-death, but quality)

Can Bardd (epic folk metal stuff)

Aenimus (ambitious proggy deathcore stuff from a young band)

Cliffside - The Wilderness (reminds me of ERRA, pretty good)



Then there's Overkill, Candlemass, Delain, Imperia

Just finished listening on proper speakers. Barstool Warrior is easily the best song they've done since Breaking All Illusions. Such great guitar tones and melodies. And Pale Blue Dot has some crazy instrumental stuff! At Wits End is another amazing song.

Really liking all of it tbh, very happy with this.
