Been into me bro lol. But yeah bumping this.

I didn't have an impulse to relisten to this as I normally do with Liz for some reason but I'll force myself to tomorrow.
|
| |
I can see myself returning to this frequently, whereas Grouper occupies more of a niche space in my rotation, for a very specific mood. Comparisons to grouper aside, this reminds me strongly of Stained Glass by Kayo Dot, which is a really good thing for me. It's been a great few months for ambient music.

After its own death is so fucking good
|
| |
Is this worth a spin if I tend to enjoy Grouper more at her songiest rather than her droniest? Having a hard time getting in the mood for this.
|
| |
Boney this is 50% mellotron drone but you would enjoy the first 2 tracks for sure.

I’m like halfway through the first one but already much prefer this to Grid

I'm late here but very nice Dewi! This album is gorgeous. I think the stretched, free-form style she achieves here really suits her. Loving getting lost in this

enjoyed this a lot overall but wow sides A+B are phenomenal. they remind me of the mysterious skin soundtrack which is my favourite ambient album of all time

it's funny, I love grouper and sort of consider her a favorite artist, but that might be conceptual more than anything, because I feel as if all of her albums except A I A (which I absolutely love) contain attenuated/adulterated pleasures. something is missing, usually
