American Tragedy was such a disappointment for me. Remember Hear Me Now debuted on an AOL radio thing that was like Pandora so I had to wait for someone to stumble on it and rip it, only to find out Danny fucking sucked.
Anyways, I learned that hype was bad

Currently have AT at 2.5 atm, not sure if it'll stay there after I revisit the thing.

I stand that HU isn't really that bad but all their albums are at least 50% garbage, which apparently was due to their record label forcing them to put out a ton of tracks on each record after Swan Songs.
|
| |
Yeah, and even Swan Songs has a shitload of trash as well. Paradise Lost is probably the only song I can say even before a revisit is still good other than maybe This Love, This Hate.

"Bullet" is fucking disgusting in hindsight. They take suicide and self harm and unironically glorify it with the help of a backing track reminiscent of the Office theme song. Always thought it was kinda catchy but post-grandfather-suicide me is not a fan at all.
|
| |
And considering some of us have had suicidal thoughts and the like...yeah I can see why it's offensive. That song is horrible for that alone.

The use of suicide in music should analyzed a bit more. 13 Reasons Why got a ton of flack but any shitty scene band does the same thing.
It's weird hearing how much people liked Bullet because I jumped off the HU hypetrain after that album dropped. Def one of the better songs off the record though. I remember liking Lump Your Head quite a bit

Sometimes I wanna down a 4 loko sometimes I want craftbeer
Orchid self titled slays though. But I would rather just listen to Someday Came Suddenly if I wanted lulzy music.

Listen to Swan Songs for laughs, I listened to this once and it was super forgettable

No. 5 has aged stupidly, esp. the pedophile line that they still rap live

Brett kavanaugh was a ghost writer on swan songs

little known fact Brett Kavanaugh was actually the acclaimed member "Shady Jeff". He left the band to pursue a career in law after he saw how bad of a deal HU signed with A & M Octone

Undead was a fun song to blast really loud back in the day.
