Nice attempt at a return to form but the general instrument sound (drums are ass, guitars too Decapitated-modern) and meh deathcore vox ruin it. Band used to have such a fantastic drum sound :/

yeh i agree the main thing putting this behind similar albums of this style is that its production feels too clean for the actual musical style they're doing. this is way more deathgrindy than their self titled so it feels odd that its even more cleanly produced

I really REALLY wish they'd just recorded this without Matt McGachy. It would be better instrumentally, or with a proper vocalist, not some clown gurgling over the top of it. Thankfully he sounded much better on the newest album.
