The production on this is fucking horrible. The guitars sound so wispy and fake, they literally have no impact at all. Almost every song starts out w/a slight variation of the same riff. Ben has an amazing voice, why they chose to overproduce it and layer it to shit is beyond me. Musically, it's their heaviest since Saturate and has lot of that same nu-metal flavor, but the grooves are neutered because of the production. There are a few good songs, but this is a big disappointment. It's like their version of trying something "new" was copy and pasting Saturate-esque riffs and jamming them awkwardly into radio-friendly alt-metal tunes.

Yeah the production brings this down. Everything just sounds really overproduced where it doesn´t do the record any justice

Guys, just pop in Phobia and recognize that like 5 songs on there are 10x better than anything here.

The production is perfect. This album is their best since Phobia. The auto tune in certain parts really enhanced the singers voice and made it more dramatic. It's alternative rock/metal so duhh lmao.

Steak is right. At least this album has great unique riffs and massive powerful drumming. The songs all sound simular in a strong consistent way.

mostly more enjoyable and memorable than dark before dawn, but goddammit these lyrics are pissing me off even more than usual. it's just totally meaningless word salad at this point, just edgy phrases strung together with barely any discernible connection.

Breaking Ben is trying way too hard to keep the flame going without any sustainable fuel.
