as for the comparison, i havent heard TMV yet so i cannot confirm that aspect: there is def a hypnagogic pop vibe on a few of the songs here tho, so i can see the ariel pink part

Just started jamming this - I'm so excited. Didn't jam Tyranny because I was on a Strokes hiatus I guess, but I've been a huge fan of the Strokes reinvention and so far this is awesome. My buddy, who I usually trust with his taste, suggests this album is excellent too. I'm glad to see Sputnik not shitting on it.
