I listened to Automata 1 once and haven't felt the urge to listen to any of those songs again. This is so much better and such an evolution that it's almost embarrassing to see BTBAM make the same album yet again.

"this is going to be another album where even though it has a high avg people are constantly going to complain about stupid shit just so they can complain about it, isn't it?"

This band is good but I hate the shiny plastic modern death metal production they use

This was ok, better than the last one. Pretty boring riffs and overly compressed production. I dig the atmosphere here overall though.

Yeh i think the atmosphere and some of the song structures and ideas are quite good, but i feel like most of the heavier sections are quite bland.
The drums are also truely awful, so stupidly heavily limited, sounds terrible

I kinda relate this album to The Contortionist's Exoplanet album. The heavy parts are perfectly enjoyable, but things start to excel when the softer stuff comes up.
