This album has been out for a day, so claiming it's better than one of the most iconic albums of the last 30 years might be a bit premature imo. I get some Nirvana vibes from this too though, mostly because "Moon" uses a slight variation of the riff from "Tourette's." I also hear elements of Snapcase, Quicksand, and Rage in there.

It's a pretty entertaining mix of traditional hardcore, early post-hardcore, punk, alt metal, and grunge. It's derivative, but it's so much fun that I'm mostly willing to overlook that.

Yeah, I’m not seeing that this is better than ‘Nevermind’ - it has a similar sound and feel at times though. It’s strangely catchy throughout.

Uni, what if I made the argument that Nevermind is post-punk?

For every Post-Punk there is Modern English and Aztec Camera. You won't win a damn thing!

I am still expecting Doof's argument that Nevermind is post-punk, but I guess my comeback was too real for him to handle.

It actually might come, cause I have been revisiting the record more as of late. It still does have that manifactured conveyor belt feeling, but when the calculated banality gets it right, it gets it right.

It powers paint splash? Not sure what that means, but I'll just have to assume that's one of Doof's trademark mystery wise cracking.

The transition from "Bomb" to "I Don't Wanna be Blind" is the best shit happened in Hardcore.
