Is it just me, or is there a ton of clipping in this record? It's also mad repetitive, everything sounds the same, and has too many fucking oohs and ahs.

I'm not, I absolutely love Empire. It also has arguably one of the best, if not the best chorus on this album.

@BlackMalachite Waiting for your 5/5 review of the upcoming BVB album.

The rap has solid flow but with those cringey-ass lyrics I'd rather listen to 10 Kyle Lucas raps than hear that again

I'm not gonna lie "Into the Fire" is an amazing track. It's one of their more BMTH sounding tracks, but the chorus is pretty sick. It has a very cinematic feel and Danny's voice is great.
I wish he was in a solid band for a change, I'd really love to see what he could do with peers actually on his level.

This review echoes my exact opinion. It's in times like these that I'd like to hear from the Stand Up And Scream 1.5'ers. How would they rate this album? There's very little to be appreciated in this. Go back 9 years and you've got a ton of catchy riffs that display actual skill and songs that while arguably clichéd, are well structured and come together in a way that makes sense. Now this... this is just bullshit.

And Asking Alexandria really aren't one of the biggest names in metalcore anymore. They're one of the bigger names in hard rock and modern heavy music in general, definitely not metalcore anymore though.
dbl post dab
EDIT: they're on of the "bigger names" in terms of popularity, ofc
