Went into this with fairly high hopes, but was initially met by some awkward vocals, a slightly flat production & We Must Bury You, which I didn't like at all.
Fortunately the vocals bed in pretty quickly and I got used to the production. Still don't like We Must Bury You but there's some really good stuff on here (e.g. Teargas, Tonight's Music, The Future of Speech, Sweet Nurse).

There's a definite charm to this album in its unpolished edges. A couple of tracks suffer and things can get a little uneven but, for the most part, it adds an extra element to proceedings. Tempted to pop a 4.5 on this, let me give it a couple more spins.
