Yeah, also have you noticed how all the really good bands work their asses off and release sometimes excellent albums every 2 years, and those commercially successful bands don't give a shit and just have releases every 5 or more years?

Evanescence had to deal with a lawsuit from their label so that's why they haven't released an album in a while

Struggling to remember a memorable moment on this album an hour after I finished listening to it. It's not bad, just entirely uninspired :/

Haven't listened to the album, but I find the album art mildly... interesting.

Yeah, all those alt-rock/goth bands always put their front chick on the cover

It grabs the attention in most cases. They know what they're doing.

Of course they do. Still, it's kind of a low hanging fruit imo

Oh yeah, it definitely is. Still doesn't mean I'm going to buy the album, haha. I might just... admire it from afar.

What a pointless release. There is no song on here that's better than on its respective album and the two new ones (nice job releasing two new songs after 6 years yo) aren't notable either.

my point exactly, cut this down to like a 6-track EP and I think it would've been perfectly fine.

When I first read about this album a month or two ago, I assumed that it was just going to be an orchestral remake of Fallen with a couple of new songs. After all, the release of Fallen was nearly fifteen years ago. I mean, a lot of artists release an acoustic version of their debut albums, so I thought releasing an orchestral version would be kind of cool.

I wasn't expecting songs from Evanescence on here at all. Maybe that's why I'm so disappointed.
