ill admit im not the most objective judge of ambient music. im a very rhythmic listener because ive been a drummer all my life, so its not a lack of patience as much as its just a genre of music that is often fundamentally lacking the one component of music that i connect with the most

even like the classic tim hecker and brian eno stuff etc etc like i respect it because without it....... well


but it also does not engage me.
