I'm mesmerized by the album cover. But it looks like that's the only good thing about the album.

Only album of theirs i like is pinkerton (which is downright fantastic) every other album I've heard I've either been indifferent to or straight up hated

is that summary supposed to remind me of Manchester Orchestra?

"What if Weezer returns to where they've always been? Simple math, Rivers can't do algebra..."

"In 2017 all 3 bands have released easily their worst albums of their highly respective careers for one reason. They all want to stay relevant in this horrible electronic hip hop pop mainstream snapchat world. I never thought i'd see these juggernaut bands pander to the masses so much and devolve their sound to this level. "

the new foo fighters was equally as bad as sonic highways and linkin park's album, say what you will about the creative direction of one more light, had both pop and electronic influences evident in their sound since the very beginning

I'm not saying any of the albums you listed were good (though this Weezer one isn't bad, per se), but saying music is bad because of the "horrible electronic hip hop pop mainstream snapchat world" is not your strongest argument basically anywhere

My expectations were a 2 and I have it there right now, but I'm already giving thought to lowering it to a 1.5

Agreed. Like I said, I'm already considering lowering it myself.

When he says "I'm holding on" in Feels like summer, I think of the Linkin Park song Heavy when he says "I'm holding on".
