Yeah those melodic lines on t/t wow!
I have to mention Summertime. I mean the whole middle part after Coltrane's intro, with Tyner doing insane runs on the keys peppered with those weird chords. Then he just drops out and rejoins the rhythm section for that build up where Elvin Jones just destroys his kit until Coltrane joins back for the finale...daaaaaaamn!

Underrated if anything, which is crazy to say but yeah amazing stuff. I love stuff that’s sort of on the precipice of avant garde but still connected to classical pleasures. Like Ibsen or Chekhov. Idk. This isn’t really avant garde in most senses but maybe U get what I mean

My next review is Steve Lacy’s THE STRAIGHT HORN OF STEVE LACY, anyone interested in the timbral possibilities of soprano sax on a contemporaneous record should check it, came out the same year but such a different flavor
