On Letting Go has always been my favorite Circa album and this one is definitely encroaching on that title at a rapid pace. It'll probably be years before I know where it stands for me though.

I really, really dig this. This band is incredibly consistent.

Cant wait to hear this album, apart from 'On Letting Go', ive really liked all their albums, and even that one is alright / has a few great tracks etc.
The last album was killer.

One of the best albums they've released in years. If I had one gripe about it, it would be a slightly different track order. It flows, but not quite cohesively. It could flow better.

I love Stay. It has a bit of that old school, whimsical Circa sound to it, particularly from how the song opens

I'm on Tunnel Vision now. So far, I like this. I've always loved Circa, they just make quality records and usually manage not to piss of their fanbase while attempting to push their sound, albeit not usually very hard. They definitely keep it fresh though

agreed coldheaven. ex going from It Gets Worse at Night to that old school sound supremejelly mentioned with Stay makes no sense to me. while most of the record is on the chiller side, that track's sound is almost jarring after It Gets Worse at Night

I'll just play around with the tracklisting until it flows a little better. I really think "Flesh And Bone" should have been the closer, and I would go as far as to say "The Amulet" would have been a decent opening track. Just pull you into the album with those intoxicating soundscapes and angelic vocal melodies. But that's just my shit opinion.

Can't say I'm not smiling a little bit about that!

"Never Tell A Soul" is the weakest song on the album imo, too early in the tracklisting for such a weak song.
