Hundred Waters have the potential for a classic in them, so far I've only found their albums 'great' despite containing a few near-perfect tracks.

I only listened once so far on my lap top with the volume kinda low, but found it kind of boring. I'm not commenting on the lyrics at all, or the concept, but musically this didn't invite me back at all unfortunately. I always liked her soaring vocals mixed with the electronic/symphonic backdrop.
I'll give it another go with headphones tho

the second half is more engaging, try listening from undercover to the end.

The go with headphones is the right go.

goddamnit you guys got my hopes up by this being a highly rated album tagged as pop/ electronic
but ofc it's folksy indie/ slightly ambient shit instead
this actually sounds really amazing though, will check soon

I think that's due to a change of genre of the artist herself rather than people misrepresenting this album specifically.
|
| |
yea that definitely might be the case. and it's not like her old stuff is any lower rated
but I always like to see highly rated electronic on the front page and that so rarely happens
