I think my biggest problem with this album is how much Terry repeats the same melodies and rhythms over and over.

Band is fantastic, and indeed Alan Jones is a brilliant guitarist. As I've listened through their discography, it's something that's just kept coming to mind. I'm loving the folk here, it is perfectly mixed in with the more traditional doom / NWOBHM riffwork. I'm not surprised that I've enjoyed this so much, coming from a fan of Jex Thoth, Witchcraft & Blood Ceremony amongst others. The production certainly has such a strong clarity to let Alan's strings ring out in a beautiful way. Still see Mythical & Magical as their Opus personally.
