ha these guys were trash. back in the 90s if you liked these guys you were considered a clown.

You really sound stupid.

But yeah Hans for sure. Mo Murda is top 3 rap songs ever for me, might even be my fav.

I've discog jammed these dudes over the past few days and pretty much everything they've done is amazing. Even their 2 most recent albums are fantastic. Of course they're way, way different than this or the EP but good god these guys are fucking great musicians in general.

Been watching interviews and shit too and they're super humble dudes and their story is great.

I prefer Eazy, B.G. Knoccout & Dresta and Kokane as far as Ruthless folks go

Bone used to be my shit. Although they were everyone's shit from around here, one of the few good things to come out of Cleveland. You watch their movie Hawks? It's actually not bad, "I Tried" or something, basically based around their story about how they became rappers, and what would've come of them if it didn't happen.

@Drifter You should def recheck this and that EP, but also check BTNH Resurrection if you haven't heard it yet, their best imo.

Yeah Drift get on Creepin On Ah Come Up hard, it's just as good as this tbh just half the length. But I haven't seen the movie Hex, but I watched like a behind the scenes documentary with them from around when Creepin/this/The Art of War came out and it's so informative. Also watched an interview they did from like 1993 before they even put this out and you can tell how ahead of their time they really were. Seeing Bizzy at like 16-17 years old is crazy, they still live by everything they were saying back then and it's cool to see. Really inspirational dudes tbh.

Haven't jammed their 4 albums without Bizzy or The Art of War III yet, but the rest all rule with the exception of Faces of Death which I don't dig too hard.

Yeah they are def inspirational, and they're all pretty chill dudes in person too. I used to sift through their interviews/documentaries back in the day, interesting stuff to watch. I'm not as big on them as I used to be, still one of my fav rap groups though. Some of their solo stuff is good too, haven't heard it all but Krayzie and Bizzy have some good stuff that's worth checking if you haven't yet.

And yeah the movie isn't near as informative as the documentary since a lot of it is fiction, just kinda fun to watch as a fan. It's basically just them playing themselves, except Flesh cuz he was in prison but yeah.

Like I said on the previous page, Bizzy is becoming prob my fav rapper ever behind Tupac. Even after everything he's been through in life he's still such a humble guy from what I've seen and his style is so groundbreaking. I mean the style of the whole group was groundbreaking, but Bizzy's voice and flow is pretty much perfect for me.

They're all top notch MC's tbh though. Layzie and Krayzie are both up there for me too and I feel like Wish and Flesh (especially Wish) are super underrated.

Yeah Bizzy's flow is just insane and his voice is unique too. Personally I like Krayzie the best, sometimes he just kills it like in Battlezone. But yeah they're def all top notch MC's for sure. Damn, now I'm wanting to throw some Bone on, been way too damn long.

Agreed about Wish and Flesh though, they're both def underrated. Flesh fuckin kills it sometimes, but so does Wish. I haven't heard either of their solo stuff though, I should probably change that. So far I've only heard solo stuff by Bizzy, Krayzie, and Layzie.

For sure bro. I've been binging on Bone Thugs for the past week, haven't listened to anything else lol. Jammed this album like 5 times in the past 2 days.

Haven't jammed any of their solo stuff yet but I def plan on it. I've heard Flesh & Bizzy's first solo albums are bangers. Bizzy's son raps too under the name Lil Bizzy and he's pretty damn good himself from the 2 or 3 songs I jammed.

Haha nice dude. Kinda how it happens when you jam Bone, if not full albums there's always songs I'll throw on a playlist and repeat. Just jammed this and Resurrection, think I wanna go through their newer stuff though. I recall not being too fond of some of it, but every album had at least a few killer tracks so I wanna give them another go.

I've only heard some of Bizzy's solo shit and Krayzie's, both were really good though. And like 2 of Layzie's songs but they were both sick. I didn't know about Bizzy's son, that's pretty cool. Gonna go check him out.
