Smile is a real good jam

Damn Hov was really trying to out-do Kanye with that -minimalist- artwork

but the font says more modern, old school revival hip hop, kanye's screams internet post ironic

I don't understand why people doubt this could be a 4-4.5. Hov obviously could put out some classic material as Reasonable Doubt, BP1, American Gangster and the Black Album show. It's similar to Reasonable Doubt's Regret in tone of introspection throughout the album, but very focused with no tracks wasted. It has lyrics, production, cohesiveness; don't understand the bewilderment some people have towards it being very good here.

@ Asdfp277, does that factor in Reasonable Doubt, BP1, Black Album, American Gangster? He's had some bad albums, but for the most part as evidence even here, most of his discography is more good than bad. Vol 1-3, BP2, KC being good with the rest being subpar to bad. Not mentioning his lyricism is very good when he's not being lazy.
