After a few listens, this seems pretty disappointing. Aside from the first two tracks, everything else seems like filler and really samey sounding. Nothing really memorable unfortunately. Miss their demo type of material.

Great album and great review! I do agree that I was a little disappointed that they didn't add to their style or experiment with new sounds. I enjoyed the album, but it didn't blow me away either.

I actually really dig the songs that they did some different stuff with. Berry Streets, Glitch & Nayhoo are all great. Feel This Way is a little more ehhhhh... but not terrible by any means.

I think I liked this album a lot more on the first listen than I do now. The tracks are missing something memorable that their previous offerings had. Songs like "Fluffy", "Bubble Dream", "Can't Wait" had really infectious melodies. They were hummable. As a guitarist, they were inspirational. But contrast them with "Sleepy Tea" and "Waterslide" and you'll see how Homey's songs move from one idea to the next, sometimes maniacally, without ever really escaping from the "super chill jam session" vibe. If that's what they were going for, then great, but it isn't for me.

"Nayhoo" is the only song I keep coming back to. It's stupendous, and I hope they do more R&B collaborations.
