Wow, I must be listening to a different album.
Problem is when a band carries on producing music, they are always gonna be prepared to their earlier stuff. plus people fall out of love with bands. Your taste buds change with age. I was disappointed with dominoes fall. Apart from 'up to no good'. Honor started strong then faded. But this album. wow !!!
Classic Rancid riffs, choruses with that energy ( yes not the same amount of energy they had in their early twenties, Fuck I wish I still had it. Age sucks !!)
but none the less. I always treat an album as if the band is new. Gotta say i'm well happy to sing along and bounce around to it. Loving it !!!!!

I like it, not love it but it's an improvement on the last two. Too bad can't get another Bastards album from Lars

i don't get why everyone expects rancid to do good punk lol, they're old af, i liked the songs that sounded like indestructible-era rancid (where i'm goin, make it out alive and cold cold blood) and the whole album is just nice to go through

Gonna disagree with the review, I think this is song for song their best since AOCTW back in 95. I'd advise any Rancid fans to get this for sure.
Best songs for me are: An Intimate Close Up of a Street Punk Trouble Maker (yeah the name is a mouthful but the song kicks ass)
Farewell Lola Blue
Cold Cold Blood
But honestly I reckon all of them are pretty solid. So it might be easier to state the ones I don't like as much as the rest, they are: Telegraph Avenue, Bovver Rock and Roll and Say Goodbye to our Heroes.

I haven’t enjoyed a Rancid album since Indestructable.

I think this was a strong release from Rancid. The thing about most Rancid albums is that they have too many songs, and if they were scaled down to the top 12 strongest songs, you would be left with a very good listening experience. It's the 6 songs that are skippable that weaken the overall album. Tracks I dig: Track fast, ghost of a chance, telegraph avenue, an intimate close up..., where im going, farewell lola blue, make it out alive, say goodbye to our heroes, this is not the end.

Another new one, pretty good too, not really a single, just a quick punchy rancid punk song.
2 from 2, Let's Go!
