No I meant the thing of american idiot that they were doing an album but they scrapped all they did and start from the beginning again.

Loved California, love this, but a lot of the extra tracks feel like filler. I definitely can see why they weren't added to the original release.

nah the bonus disc is definitely better than the original. instrumentals are better, lyrics are a liiiitle less distracting and skiba gets more time behind the mic. it's still marred by all of california's problems but that's to be expected since theyre from the same sessions

I can understand. The extra tracks do seem like a throwback to their pre-enema days, which I wasn't a massive fan of.

the ones that do that are probably my least favorites on here tbh. last train home bottom of the ocean and 6/8 are easily the best ones on here, and along with cynical are probably the best from all these sessions

I dig this. A lot of the tracks on this are better than some of the tracks on the original album imo.

This was really enjoyable. No tracks have hooks like "She's Out of Her Mind" but still good nonetheless.

She's Out of Her Mind is vomit-inducing though.

i kind of love she's out of her mind mostly ironically tho. it's the embodiment of all of california's problems but there's just something so stupidly fun about it. the worst on california for me are no future, home is such a lonely place, kings of the weekend and the t/t. sober isn't great either tho
