Always found the Jay Kay shtick repulsive. If the whole sound is about buying into the 'coolness' but you find Jay Kay about as cool as Right Said Fred then you'll be amazed at how quickly the house of cards topples. Made it through three songs here, didn't like the update in style, never liked the original style.

Haha Right Said Fred, nice one Doof. Yeah Jay Kay surely isn't the most pleasant person, his ego is annoyingly huge. But the band was really amazing back then. No love or at least appreciation at all even for their early stuff Doof?

This Noisey article reviewing their recent live show is a nice accompaniment to liking this album: http://bit.ly/2o1Pk7U

good article, I don't think I can get tired of their music really, although this might just be their weakest album

Totally with you @Doofus. "Always found the Jay Kay shtick repulsive. If the whole sound is about buying into the 'coolness' but you find Jay Kay about as cool as Right Said Fred then you'll be amazed at how quickly the house of cards topples."

lol the average for this was like a 3.9 at first. I know it's unlikely but I'd like to believe Doof's 1's always influence the balance of the force.

3.3 is still almost a bit high though. 3.0 would be adequate, it's a fun album but absolutely nothing to go crazy about.

Beside the previously released two singles the only song I really dig is Superfresh, which is a great funky jam.

Shake it On is also decent.

It unfortunately wore off pretty fast on me, simply lacks the substance of their earlier releases.

Yep this screams 3. Well, more like croons it over well produced pop funk.

@Doofus - "your comment was good shit before the edit :/"
Thank you, I appreciate but I tend to quickly feel bad when I write stuff like that and I thought you had said everything in less words than me and without being too vexing to anybody.

I love the verse riff of the title track
