Yeah this band was so freaking awesome. I started listening to them just a few days ago but I'm spinning the hell out of both albums. It's such a shame they didn't release anything else...

The part at 4:13 is awesome too. It's a masterpiece of a song.

>Great band, terrible album title

I actually disagree. The portmanteau may sound cliched, but if you think about it, it's not really something you've heard or seen before is it?
I am willing to bet that the band came up with it themselves. (as opposed to copying from some other place they saw it) If you google the "word", then there's only two major results associated with it: This album, and an Australian band from the 90s.
PLUS it sounds like exactly a name that you would expect from a late-80s underground metal band. :P

Anyway, I came to learn of this band thanks to Park's and Casavir's "Beyond thrash, beyond God" essential thrash list. (Actually, to be more technically correct, I had heard the band name before, but never actually listened to anything by them)
I already posted a comment on what I think about their debut Endless War in the relevant review.

Now, regarding Suiciety, it has all the strengths of the first one, AND dares to try to be even more original and inventive, BUT to me the songs themselves are just a bit weaker overall. It's just not as exciting as their debut. Maybe I can hear the band probably trying a bit too hard, which eventually ruined the thing.

I also have to note that, similarly to Endless War, I can definitely hear some later metal bands of particular renown having been impressed by it. :P
