Listen to Sophtware Slump
It's a beautiful, spacey, glitch-y, dreamy, indie pop album

I sum it up as the yank Kid A with more soul.

I sum it up as Modest Mouse but obsessed with 'man vs nature' instead of 'man vs the big man upstairs'

"I sum it up as the yank Kid A with more soul."
Yeah this, but more pop oriented.

Comparisons to Radiohead and Modest Mouse... *starts to salivate*

Interesting... Will probably try Sophtware Slump and this soon.

The Sopthware Slump always sounded to me like if you grab the best elements of OK Computer and The Soft Bulletin and you smash them together. It has the melancholy and paranoid outlook of technology from OK Computer and the dreamy, spacey and sweet emotional resonance of The Soft Bullentin. But it never sounds like it's ripping off either of them. It's a brilliant record.

'A Lost Machine' into 'Songbird Son' is what bumps this the extra .5 above Fambly Cat, hella pretty stuff

Pushing very strongly on 4.

I dunno. Bread is buttered too thinly. My grandad used to make sausage sandwiches that were slathered. Died of a heart attack but them sausage sandwiches were the best.

I happen to be attuned to Lytle's mindset. Like, stop reading my mind for lyrics attuned.

This is a strong 3.5 for me. I don't think I could justify a 4 because I don't see myself really coming back to it much, but its great none the less.

A bit disappointing for me. Not sure I'll really have any desire to go back to this. The loud mastering doesn't help, either.
