S/t was okay and the singles for this were alright, might check this eventually. Saw these guys open for Hands Like Houses and they may have been the least energetic band I've ever seen. At least it seemed that way up on stage. I don't think the singer moved at all through the entire set, it was weird. He stood behind me and vaped while I the Mighty played, but saw him chatting with random guys so he seemed like he may be a cool dude but I headed up front after that. Don't know the point of telling this but ah well. Good review, shame to hear this sucks though

It kinda bothers me, the band abandoned all sense of identity on their self-titled. The songs weren't bad but they didn't sound anything like their previous material.
Change is good, sure. But the direction they've taken is a shame.

I liked the self-titled for what it was, but it was the first thing I've heard from them. Thought it was just catchy pop-rock with some cool parts

After one listen I really don't think this is anywhere near as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
If you can accept this direction they have taken then there is plenty on offer to enjoy here. Wont rate until a few more spins though.

As someone who actually liked these guys. This is a massive disappointment. Their self titled album was actually quite enjoyable. It was there usual sound injected with some harmless pop shit. But this album is that too far. World Record is still like a massive jam for me. Nostalgia probably but talk about a fall from some semblance of grace.

I guess albums with band members on their cover are just bound to be shit.
