wow have only checked out Brave Murder Day and this but I'm not digging the direction they moved in... kind of the same way I feel about Anathema

I respect that, but it honestly just seems to drone on and on without much variation or intrigue. It's rather monotonous to me, especially compared to an album like this with a lot more involved in each track

One thing I can't deny is the excellent drumming. Both full-time drummers (Renkse aside) they had are called Daniel and they both slay especially when polished by Soord's magic. NITND and LFDGD deserve that magic too
