Haha yeah we will go on Saturday

Love Gosling. Love Emma Stone. However I have no desire to see this film, and I'm really doubting its as good as people hype it up to be.
|
| |
I really do want to hear some of the songs on this tho ngl

The film is directed by the same guy who did Whiplash which is pretty much reason for me to go see it.
|
| |
not big on gosling (except in drive), stone, or romantic movies or musicals usually in general but i heard this is good so taking mlady to it saturday
surely the hype is justified, its getting universally praised across the board

Arrival should win Best Picture

So I watched the movie 2 hours ago.
I really liked, the plot, the characters and the chemistry was just great and very heart-warming. I do have issues with it, in the sense that I''m really not big on musicals and some of the singing felt very cheesy, but I mean that's the whole genre so yeah, just not my type.
Still a very good movie though.

"Manchester was just the most dissapointing film I've seen in a while , especially after he truckload of accolades it recieved. Cash Affleck is indisputably the least charismatic and most lifeless actor I've come across, and it's not just this role it's basically all his films. "
lol Manchester is the best film in years, and Affleck's performance is so perfectly understated and subtle

Does Sing Street even count as a musical though? I mean sure there are songs in it but there are no spontaneous choreographed numbers in it.
Regardless, I'm of the opinion that it was nothing special. But that's just me.

Also yeah You're Welcome and We Know the Way are actually pretty great, but overall it's not as instantly catchy and fun as I hoped. And while I know I shouldn't compare them, it's really not as good as the Frozen soundtrack.

Believe the hype. Wonderful soundtrack. The only downside is it's a bit short. It fits perfectly with the movie, it's listenable on it's own, and so damn catchy and fun.
P.S. this album was already uploaded under "Justin Hurwitz."
|
| |
soundtracks are uploaded under the player's name, not the composer, as per sputnik standard. gonna ask the other one to be deleted
(note that the score is different from the original motion soundtrack)
|
| |
He's the composer and the performer nothing should be deleted
|
| |
itunes has this album as a "V.A." one, and he's not the only performer -- emma stone, ryan gosling & john legend are featured as well
on the other hand, i just noticed john legend is featured on all tracks, and the others only make a few appearances. should i ask this one to be moved to the one under justin hurwitz's name then? that sounds fine >:]
