Average for this is so sad. This is the perfect example of how to mix black and doom metal.

Finally jammed this (I think for the first time? Not sure), and yeah, great doom record, reminds me of early Paradise Lost and shows little signs of what they would become in the future. Jonas' growls were amazing.

It was a slow grower for me, which I think explains the low rating; most people hear this once or twice and are turned off. They'd rather invest their time in something that instantly clicks for them (which isn't a bad thing, one's time is arguably the most important part of their life). Even considering the fact this did grow on me, I never return to it.

I've always preferred this to Brave Murder Day.
